The primary goal of the guidance counsellor is to enhance and promote student learning and behaviours by addressing mental health and social emotional skills. Here you will find services available to all students from kindergarten to grade five.
Who is the School Counsellor?
The School Counsellor is a certified teacher with a master’s degree in counselling, including coursework in group dynamics, mental health, career development, human growth and behaviour, counselling and information services, and a supervised internship. School counsellors work using a collaborative and confidential approach.
At Evergreen Park School the school counsellor is Mrs. Shelagh Fowler.
