Dear EPS students:
I am thinking of all of you as we spend so much of our time out of school! I have so many memories of your beautiful smiles as you say hello when I walk into your classroom or down the halls of our school. I hope you are all still giving big hugs and smiles to the people you love. :)
Are you doing things every day that help you to feel happy and healthy? Some ideas of things that you can do are to go for a walk every day, draw funny pictures of your friends or your family, read a great book, play fun games, do an art project, write a story about your experiences at home, build something awesome, tell jokes with your family or watch a funny TV show. Above all, I hope that you are choosing to be kind to others as a way to help yourself and others feel happy.
I wanted to remind you about something you already know and that is that your teachers care about you and we all have your best interests in mind. Don’t worry that you are missing time from school. We all are!....and we will all catch up together when school starts again. Teachers are experts at helping us with anything! :)
Don’t forget to do what your family asks you to do, pick up your toys and do things around your house. This helps everyone and it also helps you feel proud of yourself. Above all, keep yourself healthy and happy!
I can’t wait to see your smiles and listen to your stories when we are back at school. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Fowler
